Stake Giving Machine Invitation
blocked
Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As many of you know, the Light the World Giving Machines have been at Tsawwassen Mills Mall since December 6 and will remain there through December 29. We have been deeply gratified by the wonderful response—both from members of our stake and from the broader community. Since the machines were launched, hundreds of people have participated and many thousands of dollars have been donated to bless lives around the world and right here in our own communities. Thank you for your generosity and Christlike service.

This coming Monday, December 22, has been set aside as a special day specifically for members of the Surrey Stake to come out and support the Giving Machines. Even if you have already visited the Giving Machines, we warmly invite you to come out again, perhaps as a special “Family Home Evening” and bring your friends and neighbours as well. There are no specific times to show up, so feel free to stop by anytime during the day. The Giving Machines are located just inside “Entry #3” of the Tsawwassen Mills Mall.

This season naturally invites us to look outward and to seek simple, meaningful ways to Light the World through acts of kindness and love. We hope you will join us on Monday as we come together in that spirit.

With gratitude and best wishes for the Christmas Season,

The Stake Presidency
